Annual Bowling Tournament
Nov. 14, 2003
– Goodness, gracious, Great Balls of
Fire! This year a team led by 3 newcomers took home
the “Big Silver Trophy”. The Great Balls
of Fire, made up of Eric David, Bill Downey, Sandra
Mulder and Greg Smith earned top spot. Greg was the only returning
player on this all-star team. High Average was awarded to
Matt Pierce from Turkstra Lumber. Lorne Lerner
from Petro Canada was in fine form as always,
bowling a 204, which earned him the High Single Game trophy
for the third year in a row! thrillworks’
own King Pins (Jay Bousada, Darryl deHaan,
John Maher and John Chabot) took home trophies for second
place, with Spare Us, the Burlington FibreWired
team (Brookes Shean, Rob Kent, Frank Lasowski and Peggy Dorsey)
taking home third place honors.
Planning
for the fourth annual tournament
is already in the works…look
out for bigger and
better things.
