Creating Thrillworks FlexFields: a faster content authoring experience.

At Thrillworks, we’re always looking for ways that we can simply do things better, across all aspects of our work. A key service we offer clients includes content migration and management, and helping our clients learn to navigate their CMS.

Contentful is one of our preferred headless CMS platforms, and while the content authoring experience they offer is robust, it could be tedious. We saw an opportunity to improve that experience and provide a more efficient and streamlined approach.

And so, we got to work.

We’re excited to introduce Thrillworks FlexFields, which recently launched in the Contentful marketplace November 2023.

FlexFields empowers content creators to construct flexible content models that adapt dynamically to specific criteria, eliminating the need to create entirely new content models when slight content variations arise. This tool allows for seamless modification and adjustment of content models, ensuring that content authors can work smarter, not harder.

I couldn’t be more proud of the team that worked with me to bring FlexFields to life. The initiative that our development team took to create FlexFields, and the following support of our Delivery, Experience and Marketing teams, is a testament to the collaboration that makes Thrillworks who we are. This project, supported by our in-house R&D program Labs, demonstrates the potential of innovation when forward-thinkers come together, push boundaries and turn ideas into reality.
