Spring this year has brought us at Thrillworks more than flowering trees and lighter evenings. In the past three months, we’ve been fortunate to hire a number of new staff members. Individually, each of them brings his or her unique approach to innovation, to better position us in offering awesome marketing solutions to our clients. Collectively, however, they already feel like Thrillworkers, like they belong here. And we couldn’t be happier to have them join our family.
Jason Allen, Strategist
As a copywriter and brand strategist for 12 years, Jason is an expert in all things creative. He’s happy to bring his experience in brand voice, art direction, client presentation, and overall optimism to the amazing team here at Thrillworks.
Carlos Sousa, Strategist
With a background in marketing and design, Carlos specializes in interface UI/UX and experiential marketing. His recommendations come from a specialized understanding of the intersection between strategy, technology, and human interaction.
Iona Hine, Senior Art Director
Iona has over 20 years of experience in graphic design, corporate branding, and promotional marketing. She is excited to bring to the Thrillworks table her highly creative solutions, strong client relationships, and extensive retail brand expertise.
Luis Gonzalez, Production Artist
Luis specializes in motion graphics, graphic design and print advertising. Originally from Venezuela, he moved to Australia where he founded his own company, Publitive Advertisement. As Creative Director there, Luis consistently ensured his team provided innovative solutions to transform their clients’ businesses.
Michael Kalte, Production Artist
Michael is a recent graduate from Mohawk College for Advertising and Marketing Communications Management. He is a graphic designer with a passion for branding and art direction.
Lianne Robitaille, Project Manager
Lianne has over 10 years’ experience in digital project and account management with a track record of on-time, on-budget, and in-scope project delivery. She is a graduate of Business Administration and Marketing from the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
Charis Egbuna, Project Manager
Prior to becoming a Thrillworker, Charis was an Account Executive at Blue North Strategies, and Account Manager at Pigeon Brands, where she worked with clients such as Tim Hortons, Mercedes Benz, and Food for Life.
Jennifer Ghiricociu, Project Manager
Jennifer has a background in marketing, client services, and project management. Previously as a Senior Project Manager at Rogers Media, she led the development and execution of campaign deliverables including digital, tv spots, on-air graphics, print, and live events.
JD Fillmore, Developer
JD has close to 10 years of experience in web design, development, and search engine marketing. His technical skills include HTML5, Sass, CSS3, responsive, mobile-friendly frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation), jQuery, and custom WordPress development.
